Glasgow 1770 Peated Single Malt Whisky. 46% abv

Double distilled with peated malted barley, this smoky single malt has been matured in virgin American white oak before finishing for eight to twelve months within Spanish Pedro Ximénez sherry hogsheads.

Nose - Sweet smoke and rich toffee with notes of vibrant vanilla, dried dark fruits and cracked black peppercorn spice with subtle hints of flamed orange.

Palate - Tobacco leaf, rich dark toffee and cocoa nibs on a background of sweet soft peat and gentle earthy undertones with subtle herbaceous notes of sage.

Finish - Long and smooth with notes of salted caramel, liquorice and lingering spice.
