Lindores Lowland Single Malt Scotch whisky

This is the first release in an annual series of Limited Edition bottlings from Lindores Abbey Distillery.

Lindores Abbey was founded by Tironesian Monks from Thiron-Gardais in France.

The Thiron Virgin Oak cask that have contributed to this bottling were handcrafted using wood that has been sourced from Thiron-Gardais alongside specially selected rejuvenated Red Wine Barriques and Bourbon casks.

Non-chill filtered, natural colour and bottled at 49.4% abv.

Nose - Mellow vanilla cake, caramel syrup, baking spices and fruity plum jam

Palate - Oaky vanilla and butterscotch, undertones of more plum jam with cinnamon and ginger, and layers of roasted chestnuts.

Finish - Delightful finish and smooth with a silky texture.
